2026 Subaru Uncharted: An All-New EV with Great Looks and Outstanding Performance

Exterior Design
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted has a fastback design, and its rearward-sloping roofline not only gives it a sporty look but also improves its aerodynamics. With a modern yet aggressive flair, this EV looks great both cruising on the highway and far from the beaten path.
Power and Performance
You’ll have your choice of two powertrain setups with the 2026 Subaru Uncharted. The base configuration has a single motor, and it produces 221 horsepower. If you opt for two motors, net output increases to 338 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard in this new Subaru model, but all-wheel drive is available. Upper trims get an X-Mode™ setting, which is made for uneven terrain, and all models have 8.3 inches of ground clearance.
Driving Range and Charging Time
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted offers an EPA-estimated driving range of around 300 miles when fully charged*. DC fast charging can get the battery from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes. Compatibility with NACS (North American Charging Standard) ports allows for the new Subaru Uncharted to be charged at Tesla Supercharger® stations.
Towing and Cargo
For a smaller SUV, the 2026 Subaru Uncharted has a lot of cargo room: 25 cubic feet behind the rear seats. When properly equipped, it can tow up to 3,300 pounds.
Interior Highlights
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted has a roomy cabin that accommodates up to five people. Heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver’s seat are standard. Upgrades include water-repellant upholstery, ventilated front seats, and heated rear outboard seats.
Technology Features
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted comes with a simple-to-use infotainment system powered by a big 14-inch touchscreen and physical controls. The system includes wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. Wireless device charging is standard as well.
Safety Features
Every 2026 Subaru Uncharted comes with EyeSight® Driver Assist, which is a suite of state-of-the-art safety systems. These include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Keeping Assist, and Pre-Collision Braking™. Upper trims have Traffic Jam Assist, Active Lane Change Assist, and Front Cross-Traffic Alert.
