Available Engines
Available in five great-looking trims, the Subaru Crosstrek has two engines within its lineup. A 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine powers the base model, producing 152 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. The remaining four trims rely on a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine for power, and it comes through with 178 lb-ft of torque and 182 horsepower.
A continuously variable automatic transmission pairs with both powerplants. The CVT has a manual mode with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters in all but the base trim. All-wheel drive and an SI-Drive™ performance management system are standard regardless of which BOXER® engine is under the hood.

Even though it’s the smallest SUV manufactured by the Subaru team, the Subaru Crosstrek can accommodate five adult passengers without anyone feeling cramped. Folding the 60/40 split-folding rear seats increases the SUV’s cargo capacity to 54.7 cubic feet.
