New Features Coming to the 2025 Subaru Forester
The Subaru Forester provides robust performance and smooth handling as a compact crossover. The upcoming 2025 Subaru Forester will mark the sixth generation and is expected to come with new features never before seen in the model. Learn about these features and what to expect when you take a test drive at Casey Subaru.
Improved EyeSight®
Subaru EyeSight® acts as a second pair of eyes that assist with a number of driver assistance and safety technologies. This innovative technology has been revamped with updated software and a new electric brake booster. These additions provide a broader field of view and can now relay information to the driver sooner, such as identifying pedestrians and bicyclists at an intersection more quickly.
New Option Packages
Buyers can opt for two new option packages. One is centered on safety and includes rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic braking and blind-spot detection with lane change assist. This package’s power rear gate with hands-free functionality is also bundled in another package that includes a premium Harman Kardon® audio system.
Emergency Stop Assist
The 2025 Subaru Forester will receive Emergency Stop Assist as standard. This will be the first Subaru vehicle of any model to get this safety function. As implied, this feature automatically brings the car to a safe stop if the driver fails to respond to visual and audible warnings of potential danger, such as veering from your lane.
