Casey Subaru Loves Our Neighbors

Casey Subaru has been a proud member of the Newport News, VA, community for decades. Any chance we get, we try to give back. Here, you’ll learn about the organizations we worked with during this year’s Subaru Loves to Help® Event.

The Four Oaks Day Service Center

Four Oaks is focused on helping homeless people find stable housing and employment. They also offer programs on various topics, including financial and computer literacy and workforce development. We did our small part for Four Oaks by donating blankets.

Saunders Elementary School

We donated $3,000 to Saunders Elementary School through the Adopt A Classroom program. This money was split between six classrooms and is helping 150 students get the tools they need to augment their learning.

American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)

We are proud partners of AAAS, which aims to nurture students’ interest in the sciences and ensure they have the proper tools to learn and thrive. Since 2015, we have been working with AAAS to provide communities all over the U.S. with science books.

Toys For Tots®

This past holiday season, we collected for Toys for Tots® and were able to deliver toys, books, and other gifts to children in our area.

Wounded Warriors®

Wounded Warriors® was created to help wounded veterans and their families. In addition to raising money, this organization offers different programs, services, and events to bring awareness to the needs of injured veterans.
