Casey Subaru Event Sponsoring Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter a Success

At Casey Subaru, we make sure to give back to our community and one of the places we recently donated our time was to an event at the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter, as we helped it raise $32,000 during our Share the Love campaign!

We were thrilled to be joined by local luminaries like Newport News Mayor Phillip D. Jones and Vice Mayor Curtis D. Bethany III, as well as others from the city council. Our staff was well represented too as the Owner and CEO of Casey Auto Group Art Casey was there along with Casey Subaru staff like our GM Travis Wynn and members of our marketing staff.

While we raised $32,000 for this year’s event, we also want to celebrate raising over $150,000 in direct benefits to the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter over the last five years as part of the partnership between Casey Subaru and Subaru of America. We spent the day with delicious food from Nosh, a local food truck, plus there were treat stations and other fun activities. We got to hear from those at Casey Subaru talking about how the donation money is used with Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter Direction Roger Iles and how the adoption of dogs, cats, and other animals is vital, plus the resources provided to these pets while in the shelter is much needed.
