Meet the Subaru EV Lineup
Big things are happening at Subaru, with the company making EV innovation its top priority. Several new Subaru EV models are being added to the lineup, and more are in the works. Casey Subaru offers this profile of three vehicles to know about.
Subaru Uncharted

The all-new Subaru Uncharted is perfect for daily driving or outdoor adventures. It features a 221-horsepower single motor or 338 horsepower with a dual-motor setup. All-wheel drive and an X-Mode setting are standard in upper trims, and every model offers 8.3 inches of ground clearance. The Subaru Uncharted has a driving range of up to 300 miles, and it only takes around 30 minutes to get the battery from 10% to 80% with DC fast charging. It can tow up to 3,300 pounds when properly equipped, and it accommodates five people. Heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver’s seat are standard, as is a user-friendly infotainment system with a 14-inch touchscreen. Every model has Lane-Keeping Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Pre-Collision Braking™.
Subaru Trailseeker
The Subaru Trailseeker is another brand-new addition to Subaru’s lineup. A little meatier than the Subaru Uncharted, this electric EV pumps out 375 horsepower from its two motors. It’s also eager to get off paved roads; in addition to 8.3 inches of ground clearance, it has hill descent control, drive modes for snow, dirt, and mud, and it can tow up to 3,500 pounds. A 14-inch touchscreen is standard for the infotainment system, as is wireless capability for Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and device charging. Built-in safety features include Active Lane Change Assist™, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, and Blind-Spot Monitor.
Subaru Solterra

The veteran of the bunch, the Subaru Solterra, is no less exciting than the newcomers. Its two motors produce 215 horsepower, all-wheel drive is standard, and it comes with traction control and hill ascent and descent assist. It offers a driving range of 228 miles, and DC fast charging will get the battery from 10% to 80% in about 35 minutes. The cabin is spacious and offers ample room for five people, along with a total of 63.5 cubic feet of cargo room when the rear seats are down. Standard tech and safety amenities include satellite radio, wireless smartphone connectivity, Reverse Automatic Braking™, and Blind-Spot Detection.
